The fourth quarter of 2022 saw various trends in downloads, active users, and revenue for the top five Vikings-themed games on Android in the Middle East. Here’s a closer look at how each title performed based on data from Sensor Tower.

Vikings: War of Clans experienced fluctuations in its weekly revenue, peaking at approximately $5.8K in the week of November 21. Weekly downloads saw a downward trend, starting strong at 1.8K in early October but declining to around 558 by the end of December. Weekly active users showed a similar pattern, starting at 1.5K in early October and tapering off to around 932 by the end of the year.

Vikingard from Exptional Global saw a gradual decline in both weekly revenue and active users. Revenue started at $1.6K in late September and declined to $832 by the end of December. Weekly downloads also decreased significantly, from 2.8K in late September to just 169 in the last week of December. Active users followed the same trend, dropping from 3.1K to 1.1K over the quarter.

Frostborn: Action RPG had relatively stable performance metrics throughout the quarter. Weekly revenue peaked at $712 in late November, while downloads fluctuated between 19 and 97 per week. Active users remained around the 400-500 range, ending the year at approximately 359.

Lucky Buddies saw modest revenue figures, peaking at $314 in early November. Weekly downloads were minimal, with some weeks showing no new downloads at all. Active users gradually declined from 325 in late September to just 92 by the end of December.

Finally, The Banner Saga had minimal activity with no notable revenue and very low download numbers, ranging from 2 to 18 per week.
